The Jayhawk

Something old and interesting, always dear to our hearts, never abandoned:

The Jayhawk – the cocky bird that inhabits the prairies and fields of Kansas, symbol of defiance and a little mischief. In western Kansas it cohabits with farmers but can be aggressive and unpredictable. The Jayhawk resembles the Prairie Falcon and Peregrine, but has striking blue body plumage and a brilliant red head.
